The design of the new uniform shirt for the Frankston Bowling Club revitalises the club’s image to reflect its strong reputation and professional standing in the community.
The existing design, which is relaxed and casual, has been upgraded to a more polished and professional look. Using navy blue as the primary colour creates a bold and assured statement, symbolising the club’s commitment to excellence.
To pay homage to the club’s roots and acknowledge the land’s traditional owners, the new design incorporates the Bunurong Country Logo. This logo, specifically designed for the shirt, adds authenticity and aligns with the club’s values of inclusivity and respect. By including this logo, the Frankston Bowling Club demonstrates its deep connection to the local community and its commitment to cultural appreciation.
In addition to the Bunurong Country Logo, the Bowls Australia logo and the original Frankston Bowling Club logo are prominently featured. These logos not only reinforce the club’s affiliation with Bowls Australia but also serve as a reminder of the club’s history and tradition.
The replication of the original 1925 club ‘gold’ logo (on the sleeve) helps reinforce the clubs long heritage and traditions and along with the Clubs current logo and the Bunurong logo help make a statement about the Club’s values going forward.
Including the word “Frankston” on the back of the shirt in a San Serif font, accompanied by a yellow dolphin motif, adds a distinctive element synonymous with the Frankston Bowling Club and even Frankston City Council. This design choice promotes the club’s identity and fosters a sense of pride and unity among the club members.
To add a touch of vibrancy, competitiveness, and playfulness, yellow/gold and royal blue has been incorporated as supporting colours to also match Pennant pants/shorts etc. These colours choice adds both social and competitive elements and complement the navy blue, creating a visually appealing contrast.
